I have isolated this section because I like it. I like it because the color play softens the harsh architectural style of this piece. The grid is still very clear, but attention is diverted a bit by the color play.
I have only one more section to weave. I would be willing to bet that what I've been doing here is going to lead to art piece #3.

Good afernoon, Peg :)
I see exactly what you mean! This really is very exciting to see how these art pieces are taking shape. What is really neat, is to see how different each piece is from the other (and soon others) even though they share the lowest common denominators: color, and weave structure.
Watching this process gives me the "stay tuned" feeling that I have when reading a cliff hanger, or watching a good mystery. I can't wait to see what you do next.
Saturday morning, I leave for two weeks to go visit our son, and then to go down to the gulf coast -- my husband is taking his laptop, so I will be able to take a peek here and there. I would have hated to have waited two whole weeks before being able to see what you've done!
Weave on!
Jane
A 2-week break sounds lovely! Thank you again for your comments. I shall miss them for the next 2 weeks.
