Lovely towels as is all your work. Thanks for stopping by my blog, it means a lot to me. I weave on a Glimakra standard and I think I could have woven at least 5 inches more without the dummy warp. At any rate, I am dummy warped out for now.
Carol, thank you and am delighted that you are thinking of starting to weave again.
Laritza, you are welcome. I think (but am not sure) that you may be able to weave much closer to the heddles with a CM loom than you can with a jack loom (mine is a jack). You can also gain a few inches by lashing on instead of tying on to the front beam.
What fun. I'm not surprised that your daughter loved the towels and delighted to hear she follows your blog!
Good morning Miss Peg! My beloved has been enjoying some vacation days, and I've been away from the computer. I'm sitting here with coffee in hand and checking in to get my "Peg fix." :)
Oh those towels turned out lovely! And speaking of lovely, what a beautiful daughter you have too. Obviously a clever girl, if she has been following your blog. That tickled me!
Not much weaving done over the holidays, although I did get a sample done for our Guild's monthly newsletter and will post it later today.

Thank you Leigh and Jane. I don't think she exactly "follows" the blog...just checks in from time to time. I was most surprised. Jane, thank you for your good wishes. What I really need is the patience to deal with all the inevitable problems!

She should be very happy with the towels her mom wove for her. They are beautiful!!!!! By the way so is she. You must be very proud of her.
