Having only one loom and tending to weave things that are very time-consuming and so can be on the loom for months, I definitely have to plan!Peg in South Carolinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07886923838871937466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3904270845559593827.post-35501096710273517622008-12-14T13:22:00.000-08:002008-12-14T13:22:00.000-08:00Those towels look so lovely, simple design, nice c...Those towels look so lovely, simple design, nice colours and a useful gift.

Maybe it would help to plan my weaving next year so I have time to weave useful things like towels and scarves for Christmas - all to easy to find it's suddenly December and there's no time to spare!Dorothyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06488670649558382921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3904270845559593827.post-69865509704721151742008-12-13T10:53:00.000-08:002008-12-13T10:53:00.000-08:00Love your blog, Peg! (And I see you've been tagged with the photo meme, too, rats, I'm trying to find people that haven't, lol, I'm so behind!)

As for weaving with your grandchild - 18 months is probably pretty small still, though you could put her in your lap and let her throw/catch the shuttle and grab the beater... At 18 months my kids mostly enjoyed stacking cones of yarn and putting empty bobbins on/off my shuttles. And chewing on them (the bobbins, not the shuttles, lol). :) Son really liked (and still does) the little removable beam handle from my Harrisville loom. Keep an eye on things like that, I'm forever having to search under out sofas for it... :)skiingweaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07816588515156925458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3904270845559593827.post-75568862055805187592008-12-13T07:41:00.000-08:002008-12-13T07:41:00.000-08:00Geodyne, serendipity is a good work for it!No, Lei...Geodyne, serendipity is a good work for it!
No, Leigh, I do not have to get them in the mail.
